US embassy issues visas to more than 7,500 residents of Estonia in 2007

TALLINN, Apr 18, BNS - Last year the embassy of the United States in Tallinn issued more than 7,500 tourist and business visas to residents of Estonia.
According to the US Department of State the US embassy in Tallinn issued seven immigrant's visas and 7,638 tourist and business visas.
A spokesman for the US embassy added that it was the number of visas issued by the embassy and the number of immigrant visas, for example, did not mean that all those issued the visa settled in the United States.
In comparison, the US embassy in Latvia issued 9,072 and the US embassy in Lithuania 9,588 tourist and business visas. No immigrant visas were issued by the US embassies in Latvia and Lithuania.
