Estonian lawmakers to visit Kosovo

TALLINN, Feb 28, BNS - Members of the Estonian parliament will begin a visit to the world's newest state, Kosovo, on Friday.
The chairman of the parliamentary group for ties with Kosovo, Hannes Astok, his deputy Mart Nutt and members Jaanus Marrandi and Taavi Roivas will be staying in Kosovo till Sunday.
The lawmakers are to meet with President Fatmir Sejdiu, parliament Speaker Jakup Krasniqi and members of the foreign affairs committee, Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, the minister of public services, Arsim Bajrami, and representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia on Feb. 17 and Estonia recognized it as an independent nation on Feb. 21.
