Estonians to be exempted from US visas this year

TALLINN, Feb 11, BNS - Richard C. Barth, assistant secretary of the US Homeland Security Department, said on Monday that Estonia is going to accede to the US visa waiver program already this year.
Barth said this at a joint press conference after talks with Estonian officials in Tallinn.
The same was said by the Estonian foreign minister, Urmas Paet, who said Estonia was likely to be admitted to the program either before the US presidential elections or before the new administration's taking office.
