Estonian parlt adopts 2008 state budget

TALLINN, Dec 12, BNS - The Estonian parliament today adopted the state budget for 2008.

The budget bill passed with 55 votes in favor, one against and four abstentions in the 101-member chamber.

The budget projects revenues of 96.3 billion kroons (EUR 6.15 b) and outlines expenditures in the amount of 93.6 billion kroons in 2008. Revenues are expected to increase by 25.17 percent compared to the main budget for this year.
