The Mixed Choir of Estonia Society visiting the U.S.

The Mixed Choir of Estonia Society is visiting the U.S. during their North-America tour.
The Mixed Choir of Estonia Society - on of the best amateur choirs in Estonia - gives individual concerts and takes also part in greater projects and festivals in Estonia as well as abroad. The Choir has also won prizes in some international competitions, including the Grand Prix in Barcelona, 2001 ("Europe... and its songs"). The repertoire of the Choir consists of the choral music of different centuries and music written by different Estonian and foreign composers. During the Tour in North-America the Choir is interpreting mostly the music of Estonian composers and Estonian folk-music.

Oct. 3 - Concert-lecture at Amherst College, MA, at 9:00 pm
Oct. 4 - Concert at the church of Amherst, MA, at 7:30 pm
Oct. 5 - Concert at Williams College (Williams Town), at 8:00 pm
Oct. 7 - Concert at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, NY City (on the corner of Lex Avenue and 88th Street, http://www.immanuelnyc.org), at 2:00 pm
Oct. 10 - Concert at the Calvary Lutheran Church, Washington DC (Georgia Ave. & Beltway (I-495), Silver Spring, Maryland), at 7:30 pm
