Ensemble Paabel Performing at the UN Permanent

Forum on Indigenous Issues and at Baltic Gala
The ensemble Paabel has been invited to perform at the annual Baltic Gala in Washington, the organizer of which is the USBF foundation active in the US and formed by the Baltic communities.
In the framework of the gala, business forums, the first screening in Washington of documentary The Singing Revolution as well as a number of receptions take place, the gala being the top event of the undertaking.
From 21.04 - 02.05.08, the Seventh Session of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues is being held.
The concert of the ensemble Paabel taking place in the framework of the forum is introducing Estonian folk music.

The ensemble Paabel consists of five musicians. They make music which is their joint creative work, governed by a symbiosis between folk, jazz and rock music. Their music largely consists of intertwined old instrumental pieces or songs.
